This is a song I wrote on an acoustic guitar in 1996-97, inspired by the woman who later became my wife. I recorded, produced, and mixed the song in about 7 hours. My Ableton trial software was set to expire on December 26, 2020, and at 3pm on Christmas Day, I just decided I wanted to try to get it done. The bass and drums were created within Ableton. Everything else you hear was recorded with a Shore 58 mic, Scarlett Focusrite 2.2 interface. There was no backup vocal plan, electric guitar or piano plan before that day. It's a bit sloppy, but I like it. Mastered with Logic Pro X.
